Name: AIG
Location: Farmington, CT
Description: American International Group, Inc. (AIG), a world leader in insurance and financial services, is the leading international insurance organization with operations in more than 130 countries and jurisdictions. AIG companies serve commercial, institutional and individual customers through the most extensive worldwide property-casualty and life insurance networks of any insurer.

Commercial Flooring Concepts installed large format ceramic, carpet tile, glass panel tile, and resilient in AIG's Farmington office. There was a raised level of difficulty in handling the high end finishes, and our team rose to the challenge to complete a great job.

Name: Jefferson Radiology
Location: Farmington, CT
Description: Jefferson Radiology is a partnership of radiologists, offering Sub-Specialized diagnostic and interventional imaging services. All the physicians in the group are board certified, and are committed to delivering the highest quality of radiology and imaging services possible.

Commercial Flooring Concepts installed glass mosaic tile, custom broadloom, ceramic tile, sheet vinyl and flash coving in the Farmington facility. We have also completed work at Jefferson Radiolgy's offices in West Hartford & Glastonbury.

Name: Lake of Isles Clubhouse
Location: Uncasville, CT
Contractor: A/Z Corporation
Description: The 50,000 square foot clubhouse is a turn-of-the century rustic craftsman design with cedar shake siding, stone pillars, and entry towers. Cut deep into the side of a high hill overlooking the lake, the large bay windows offer breathtaking views of New England’s finest two championship golf courses designed by renowned golf course architect Rees Jones.

Commercial Flooring Concept installed hospitality and geometric patterned carpet, ceramic, resilient, rubber tile, glass tile, stone, and hardwood flooring. It was imperative that accuracy in the installation procedures and the timeline of the project be followed. Our expertise in the field was able to correct product irregularities in order to achieve the project completion deadline.

Location: Newport, RI
Contractor: A/Z Corporation
Description: Spa Vuré is among the most luxurious, comprehensive, and qualified medical spas in New England. The Newport location is no exception. You will find an oasis where you can relax, restore, and elevate the mind, body, and soul.

Commercial Flooring Concepts installed carpet, bamboo, engineered stone and resin slabs. These materials were utilized in complex applications throughout the project, which required an innate understanding of the Architect’s intent and the ability to convey that to the installation mechanics in the field.

Description: Quinnipiac University is a private, coeducational university resting in the shadow of Sleeping Giant Mountain, which offers graduate and undergraduate programs in a technology-rich environment.

Commercial Flooring Concepts installed carpet in the library, which complements the other work we have completed around the campus such as in the Recreation Center and Residence Halls.

Location: Norwalk, CT
Description: Stepping Stones Museum for Children, named one of America’s Top 50 Children’s Museums, features interactive exhibits, educational programs and fun for the whole family.

Commercial Flooring Concepts is proud to have installed custom carpet tile with carpet integrated into the exhibits.

Name: Avon Old Farms School
Location: Avon, CT
Contractor: FIP Construction, Inc.
Description: Avon Old Farms School is a boys’ boarding school with programs designed specifically to help young men focus on their development at a time in life when distractions abound. The diversity of the student body is impressive, with students from some 30 states and over a dozen foreign countries.

Commercial Flooring Concepts has done work at the Student Center and Performing Arts Center and has several upcoming projects. Commercial Flooring has installed carpet, resilient, rubber tile, ceramic and intricate stone work.

Name: Noah Webster Library
Location: West Hartford, CT
Designer / Architect: Tuthill and Wells Architects, L.L.C
Description: The Renovation of the Noah Webster Library involved the addition of 17,000 of floor space, which now accommodates a larger children’s area, a new computer lab twice as large as the old one, and a new community meeting space.

Commercial Flooring Concepts installed carpet, carpet tile, ceramic, rubber tile and hospitality broadloom throughout the facility.

Name: Tumble Brook Country Club
Location: Bloomfield, CT
Description: Since its founding in 1922, Tumble Brook Country Club has grown in three distinct phases, each one marked by nine holes embodying the vision and spirit of its age. Together, its 27 holes form one of the state's most enjoyable and perfectly maintained golf courses.

Commercial Flooring Concepts installed custom hospitality carpet in the newly renovated clubhouse. We recommended the design and worked in conjunction with an interior designer to create the specification for the work completed.

Name: Mark Twain Library
Location: Redding, CT
Designer / Architect: Robert A.M. Stern
Description: Samuel Clemens, known as Mark Twain, moved to Redding in 1908. Clemens’ most important legacy to Redding is the Mark Twain Library where some 200 of the 3000 books he donated to start the library are still in its collection as well as a number of artifacts once owned by Clemens, his family or his associates.

We installed custom woven carpet with intricate designs cut in fields.
